I hear so much today about people who say that they are "de-constructing" their faith.
But if your Faith is built on the True Foundation, you don't need to do that.
Can I ask you a question?
If you discover that anything you believed was not true, do you just stop believing in anything else ever again?
No.
In everyday situations we automatically separate the truth from the lie and walk on.
We don't "de-construct" everything we ever believed because someone told us a lie.
But that's what a lot of people seem to do when it comes to Christianity.
If you notice some of what is passing for Christianity today, how close does it resemble ancient Christianity?
Is it fair to say not even close? Yes. Completely fair.
Unless you think the Disciples held three services a day, preaching feel-good sermons with smoke machines while collecting donations in chicken buckets.
Some of those pastors will also tell you that if you give to their ministry, God will double it back to you or give you a miracle. All this while they fly in private jets and live in mansions.
Should this be happening while people are hungry and dying without the knowledge of Christ?
Yet millions of believers cannot wait to belly up to those Kool-Aid stands that masquerade as churches!
And instead of funding the Pure and True Gospel of Christ, they wind up funding celebrity “pastors” who will tell them exactly what they want to hear.
Anytime you are listening to sermons that are more about getting what you want in this life, rather than the next one, that's a red flag.
It’s Not God.
It’s Not Jesus.
It’s Not The True Gospel.
It’s Not True Christianity.
It is Not the True Church.
If your faith is built on this version of christianity, then I say that is the very reason that wrecking balls were invented.
I am here to say: Continue to believe what is True. And take a wrecking ball to what is false.
Tear down those strongholds. And every other thought that tries to exalt itself above the true knowledge of God.
Will you ever have doubts as a true Christian?
Yes. You will.
But in that case, I have learned to de-construct my doubts - not my Faith.
For there is no other foundation can anyone lay, than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV
But you dear friends, must build each other up in your most Holy Faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit. Jude 1:20 NLT
According to Ecclesiastes 3.3 … There is a time to tear down and a time to build. KJV
It’s all in knowing when to build up and when to tear down.
