Alisha K. Khan was born in Trinidad, West Indies in the year 1988. She sites her greatest inspiration as being Her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Poetry and prose is sealed in her veins as she began writing poetry at the age of seven. All throughout her early school life, she was often praised and honoured for her excellent literary work. Alisha also prizes herself as a Lyricist as she writes for genres such as Gospel, Sufiana, Qawalis, and Indian Pop and Bollywood Film Songs. Her dream is to someday work as a Lyricist in the Indian Film industry....She says its all in the hands of God, he destined her purpose. Alisha is also a guitarist as she enjoys breathing life into her compositions with her chords. During her high school years she received countless awards for her academic accopmplishments. When asked whats her goal in the world of poetry and prose..she replies" my goal is simple, I simply wish to glorify my lord Jesus in all the expressions of my soul, that i have surrendered to him." Its truly a fact that her identity is sealed in her surrender to her Lord and her life is purposed to bring glory to him.
