Well, my dear, I need to say something
Just sit with me for a little while”
“No, I haven't got the time now, I'm off,
“I beg you, just a moment, please”,
“Bye”

“There you go again
As its been
For quite a while
My dear,
Now I find myself thankful,
For your hustled stare

I've been meaning to say this to you
For a long time now
But my dear
You're never really here
So, I have no choice but to converse with your picture that's near,

It really pains me,
To see your hard work
During the past year
I realize your strain
Working three jobs
For our mutual gain
So please forgive my sin…….

My dear,
Your love and adoration I've known
You have cherished me, taken good care of me
I know our manifold plans for our later years, the house, our baby…..everything……
When our souls were joined
You never once failed to show your care

Yes, ever since that faithful day
That's why it pains me to say,
You know that pain,
Of which I incessantly complain?
Well, two weeks ago I visited the doctor, he was uncertain at first, so I took the test,
And yesterday morning, he finally gave me an answer
My dear, I've got terminal cancer,
Forgive my sin…….”
