Jesus is lord

The Ten Commandments.

Psalms 19:7- the law of the lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.



The Ten Commandments.


1. I am the Lord thy God…thou shalt have none other Gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: thou shalt not bow thyself unto them, nor serve them.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4. Keep the Sabbath day (Saturdays.) to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.
5. Honor thy Father and Mother as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged and that it may go well with thee.
6. Thou shalt not murder. Jesus said, if thou as much as hate in your heart you commit murder. He looks at the source of murder- hatred. Jesus always looks at the heart.
7. Neither shalt thou commit adultery Jesus said if thou as much as look on another and lusted in your heart you already commit adultery. He looks at the source of adultery-lust. Jesus looks at the heart.
8. Neither shalt thou steal.
9. Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Neither shalt thou desire what is thy neighbor’s.
1John3:4- whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Have you transgressed God’s Ten Commandments? God’s word says you’ve sinned, and deserve judgment but a loving Jesus took your punishment and shed his blood- so that you can be saved and be free from the stench of sin & guilt forever.
