When friendship is exalted it seals itself as an ornament of grace
A crown of glory shall it deliver unto you

True friendship is more precious than rubies
More to be desired than exaltation

It is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon it
And happy is every one that retains this God-given gem

Its ways are ways of pleasantness
And life is exalted in its path

In it you tread the paths of safety
And thy foot shall not stumble

Just trust in the Lord with all thine heart
And lean not unto thine own understanding

Acknowledge him and he will direct your path
May he open your eyes that you may behold this new horizon

Behold such a blessed friendship
Only the Lord has gifted us, with its ownership.
