I thought you couldn't hear me
Or that I asked in vain,
I begged and pleaded for relief,
For easing of my pain.
I knew You had the power
For You created all,
Deserving nothing, yet I asked,
Past mercies I recalled.
Knowing still that You know best,
Your plan will be revealed,
Give me grace to trust You, Lord,
Until then, simply yield.
Give me strength to walk this path
That You've designed for Me,
Securely held in loving arms
Until the day I'm free.
Free from pain, anxiety,
Free from guilt, regrets,
Because You paid the debt I owed
I'm free from Satan's threats.
And so I crawl into Your lap
And feel Your arms enfold,
Whatever comes into my life,
It's Your face I behold.
Please listen, God, and answer my prayer! I feel hopeless, and I cry out to you from a faraway land. Lead me to the mighty rock high above me. You are a strong tower, where I am safe from my enemies. Let me live with you forever and find protection under your wings, my God. Psalm 61:1-4 (Contemporary English Version)

God bless~
So, I guess, I am saying that this is a good poem. Technically, I wouldn't have the faintest idea. But I loved it and it spoke encouragement to me. For me, that makes it excellent.
Thank you.
You've given us much to hang on to, whether we experience physical or emotional pain.
Thanks, and well done!
I loved this...Lynn
