Warriors In Training Situations
Retreating through the back door of the old warehouse on Fifth Street, Noreen felt the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end. Only minutes before, she and Stella had been attending the workshop for WITS members. This was a group of young men and women who were learning about self – preservation in the world of today.
They had seen videos about the enemy troops, storming the schools and churches and dragging out helpless students who refused to tell lies about their parents. They were then beaten and stripped naked, allowing the other students to laugh and ridicule them. Noreen knew that she could never stand to be treated like those poor kids.
“I’m just not cut out to be one of those super heroes. I am afraid that I would crumble if one of those jerk’s came after me. I can’t believe all those kids went through the kind of torture which we saw tonight. What about you Stella?”
Stella cocked her head and valiantly exclaimed, “Why That would be a piece of cake , Noreen. I wouldn’t let anyone make fun of my parents.”
The girls continued on down the street in silence. Each one trying to visualize in their own minds what they would do in any dangerous situation.
Off in the distance, Noreen and Stella, heard about the same time, the noise of a troop of ‘Regulators’ marching up to the school. They were after the ‘Good Kids’. Some one had squealed on the group, and informed the authorities that the Warriors were meeting in the old warehouse behind the school.
“Boy, am I glad we got out of there when we did.” shivered Noreen. Or we would be running around naked.”
“Now it isn’t funny, Noreen. Those poor kids think they can stop the ‘Regulators’ by resisting them. “But they are too strong and too evil. We can’t stop them. Only God can beat them. Remember the 23rd Psalm, ‘In the presence of mine enemies, He’ll prepare a table before us’,” sang Stella.
“Also, all of these bad times are prophesied in Revelations, we just have to be prepared for them. We must love our God and be ready to die for him. Then we cannot betray our parents,” added Noreen.
The two girls hesitantly snuck back to the warehouse. Hiding behind the trees they watched in horror, listening to the noise of the kids and the Regulators as they fought. Blood was running down the cobble stone street in little streams. Clothing pieces were strewn all over the yards. Some of the kids had given in and lied about their parents. The others were beaten, stripped and left for dead. “Those are our friends down there,” cried Noreen. “Can’t we save them?”
“No, they would only kill us and then there wouldn’t be anyone to tell the truth about those regulators. That would be the WITS End. This way we can continue the Warriors underground. We will get more members, train them and with God’s help we will survive and win! THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.”

Good job.
God bless~
Dialogue felt a little unnatural - maybe try saying it out loud to help make it flow.
I wonder what I would do in their place. Thought-provoking piece.
