I am a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelors in German and linguistics. For seven years I worked as a translator for the government. While raising a family, which involved some homeschooling, I discovered I have a love for rhymes and humor. The second Psalm tells us that God laughs at the wicked, and that is one of my favorite scriptures because it speaks of the victory Jesus won for us when He burst out of the tomb and (as I like to envision) the angel rolled the stone upon the devil's head. I believe that a merry heart does good like a medicine and that God wants to heal the whole person, body, soul and spirit. When it comes to gospel writing, I hope to become the next C.S. Lewis. To that end, I recently completed a Christian fantasy book called Speed of Sight, A Superhero Adventure, soon to be released by Dove Christian Publishing. It is about a boy from a broken home who receives power from above to help him defeat the bullies in his life. It is being published under my pen name, as you will see if you check out my site. Those who read the book will discover that I have a rather quirky sense of humor. Though this book is geared towards middle grade readers, I believe adults will appreciate the bits of irony and satire I have thrown into it. I am always looking for ways to poke fun at proud attitudes and man-made traditions without stepping on too many toes. More sequels are planned.
