As we lifted our eyes to the heavens, we were amazed how many brilliant stars there were. Before we knew it the hours slipped by, we caught a glimpse of the northern lights with a splash of eerie colors sweeping and hovering high above the treetops. We became mesmerized sitting still in awe at God’s handiwork, once more displayed for anyone to breathe in and savor. It lit up the whole backyard, and its haunting images wavered up and down like a skywriter. The beauty was absolutely breathtaking, and before we knew it, the lights faded into the vast expanse of space called the heavens.
We sat for another hour just commenting on space and how God created all of it for our enjoyment; what an indescribable gift HE blessed us with. Just having the freedom to sit in our own backyard around a campfire any evening we desire, is to be cherished. We still enjoy most of the freedoms our ancestors had before us, so indeed we are blessed. Our Father in heaven loves us so much he created the universe and all that’s in it for our enjoyment.
Hebrews 1:10 He also says, "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.”
We as humans need to count our blessings with all God laid before us. Such pure entertainment is for our eyes to behold as he whispers, “Be still, and know I am God.”

Anyway, in case you don't get to the boards, I thought I'd let you know that this particular entry placed 9th in the Level 1 awards for "Space." Out of 63 entries for Level 1, that's really worth a pat on the back.
You also placed 51st overall, which is extremely good for a Level 1 entrant (out of 180 entries). Well done!
Love, Deb (Challenge Coordinator)
