I didn’t know what was on her mind
But something told me it was there all the time
Something drew her to the meeting that night
So I stopped and prayed she’d be alright

I didn’t know her name or age
I politely asked,
She answered, “Page."
"I’ll soon been turning twenty nine, don’t know how I made it through this time.”
She didn’t say what she had, had to face
All I knew is she was drawn that place.

A treardrop fell,
She could barley speak,
“I’m not here to talk, just a little weak.”

Do you mind if I lift you up in prayer,
Though she said yes,
With disbelief she just stood and stared.

“I’ve been a christian almost all my life, but don’t know why things don’t turn out right. I’m tired and weary, sad and confused,”
I softly interupted,
“God’s still there for you.”

She hardly believed the words I spoke,
I could tell in her eyes
Nothing awoke.

Her heart was cold,
Hardened at best,
Whatever she faced
Her life felt a mess.

And I knew that once the night had ended
She’d need my prayers
And so they accended

Everyday there are woman like Page
Young and old it don’t matter their age,
The broken hearted,
Hurt and depressed,
Desperatly seeking a place to find rest.

Keep them in prayer
Though you don’t know their names
They search for a road of clarity
For the Lord to pave.
