This is Jordan Austin’s first book of poetry. Although her other books are categorized as fiction, she normally writes semi-autobiographical works about events that she had experienced in her own life or reflecting on ones in that of others. Similar to these stories: Second Chances, The Rocky Road, and Broken promises, all of these poems are based on events, ideas, or conversations of which she had experienced or had had. It is her greatest desire that all of her works will lead people closer to a God of their understanding- and this theme is quite evident in all of them. And by doing so, they will come to believe that even though it may be a struggle at the time, He does (and will never quit) bless all people for their unrelenting obedience. Austin continues to balance her teaching career, being a mother of two young children, and other activities in which she is involved with making time to write (as she writes every day). However, it still is (and will continue to be) the greatest desire of her heart to be a full-time author and motivational speaker, so she can be used to plant the seeds of God’s never ending acceptance, forgiveness, and above all. . . love.
