Faith sparked by love, an awesome sight,
Draws fragrant waves of untold grace
Throughout the void of empty space
A symphony of righteous sound
Flows in, up, over, all around
To pack each gap of poverty
With notes of generosity
Come listen to that curious chiming,
Dinging, ringing, rollicking, rhyming,
Splashing tunes of mercy free
On cartilage starved for charity
Seventy times seven in the valley of singing bones
One well played rib lets loose a stream,
Chords dripping honey, manna's cream,
Whose foaming dew delights the tongue
With bounteous vigor, fresh and young
Ten raised phalanges sow faith's seed,
Through hands that more than meet your need
A donkey's jawbone turns the spout
To quench a prophet's desperate drought
Hope's skeleton ignites the fire,
A double portion of desire
To overwhelm hell's gates of strife
And fill its dead with copious life
Seventy times seven in the valley of singing bones
A man once bent now stands upright.
As vision lame receives new sight,
Through ample salve both dear and free,
God's kindness spent so lavishly
How deep the draughts from His fair garden
Pierced to bring abundant pardon!
Giving all, our lack He takes,
Yet not a single bone He breaks
But homeless treks to dearth's own core
To bring back wealth ne'er seen before,
Such buried talents; chests of gold;
For ashes, beauty; jewels untold!
Seventy times seven in the valley of singing bones
Just hear them sing, "Who's like our King,
"Who multiplies each offering,
Returns all goods the enemy stole,
And every fractured limb makes whole?"
"We know no other God," they dance,
"Who gives our joints a second chance!
His vast forgiveness knows no bounds,
But with unfailing joy resounds."
"We're rich!" they sing, "so rich in you
Who live our marrow to renew
With songs that magnify your name
And spread abroad your glorious fame!"
Seventy times seven in the valley of singing bones

Notes:
fragrant waves of untold grace drawn throughout the void of empty space = a reference to divine light brought forth through divine sound waves (see Genesis 1:3)
One well played rib = like the rib God took from Adam to form Eve (Genesis 2:22)
Ten raised phalanges sow faith's seed, through hands that more than meet your need = the lifting of hands in praise to God results in more than enough provision from His hand
A donkey's jawbone turns the spout to quench the prophet's desperate drought = like the jaw of Balaam's donkey, whose mouth gushed a fountain of wisdom upon Balaam, thus overwhelming his stubborn ignorance (see Numbers 22:28-30)
Hope's skeleton ignites the fire, a double portion of desire = as when the dead man hit Elisha's bones and came to life (see II Kings 13:21); Elisha was the one who desired and received a double portion of Elijah's spirit (see II Kings 2:9-11)
How deep the draughts from His fair garden = how rich the sufferings of Christ as seen in the Garden of Gethsemane (see Matthew 26:36-44)
Seventy times seven = the number of forgiveness (see Matthew 18:21-22), which in Christ has no limit
