Just like others I see in society
My agitation is out of control
Will my soul ever be peaceful and whole?
Answer: Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, I am with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
My mind is melting in fear
My courage is failing to appear
I'm a mess, from all of my stress
Lord, will I ever have success?
Answer: The only ones who should melt in fear; are those who don't call Me their Lord.
Joshua 2:9,11
But Lord, there are giants roaming around in my mind
I feel like I'm living on a land-mine
How can I stop the fear;
When I don't see or feel you near?
Answer: Be like my servant Caleb and silence the giants in your mind. You can go up and take possession of your fear....for I am near....let My strength be displayed for all to see.
Numbers 13:30 and 14:17
I don't mean to stew and to fuss
Why can't I simply trust?
When I take my eyes off of You;
It's like having the stomach flu
Answer: Have a different spirit than others around you, and follow Me wholeheartedly. Numbers:14:24
Lord, I'm tired-You can have all my anxiety
I don't want to be like the rest of society
I don't want to have a mind that is at war
I want peace; please take away the constant roar
Answer:..Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
Psalm 27:14
(Then your mind will have rest from your war)
