The thoughts of Spring bring to mind wonderful memories - filled with wonder
that take on a variety meaning as we travel along the way.
To the kids, (and somehow, the energy of those days push for first place on the list)
Well, put away the hockey stick and skates, winter is over lets play ball.
But wait, didn't you hear someone talking about all the after Winter yard work,
you better get at it. Spring phooey!
Where did we put that old lawn mower (back in those days you had to push it)
Ah then memories of other victories, as a young mans fancy turns to a conquest
of a much different nature. While it's still Spring and there's still work to be done.
There memories of those special Spring events that have shaped our lives and will
never fade, many of them continue to remind us of who we are and how got here.
Of how when a young man is suddenly captivated by an encounter with loveliness,
charm, beauty and grace that will change his perspective and purpose. Wow!
As we continue along the way Spring seems to take on a somewhat different energy.
It's a great time for reflection and renewal. That thought to be dead is resurrected.
All around us we see the wonder of newness as we watch that dead branch come to
life and bud. Look a leaf pure and green and here a flower. We begin to realize that
we are experiencing a plan, a design, an orderliness and it's very comfortable.
How does this magnificent display cccure?
And He who created all things said "Let There Be LIGHT" Wow!
The Giver of life He is the Sustainer of that life
For the kid that wants to play ball
For the young man who has commited his love.
For the eldery who wonders at the beauty Spring.
In Him was life and that life was the Light of men.
Thank You Jesus
