Some words from God, which he put on my heart
Faith comes by hearing may your ears have a feast
For ears test words, just as the mouth test your quiche
God created your body and He made it from dust
It’s God ‘s spoken word that animates that crust
Now you feed your body with food from the ground
But your spirit inside, he feeds off of sound
It’s not the food, which by the mouth enters man
That makes that man either fall or stand
But it is the words that he allows in his ears
Which causes his mouth to speak faith or fears
To guard your inner-man with all of your might
Get a hold of Gods’ word before you go out to fight
Cast down any imagination, argument or thought
That threatens your freedom, which Jesus has bought
The battle you’re fighting is between flesh and spirit
They are after your soul and the victor will win it
If lead by the flesh in death your soul will be bound
If lead by the spirit your soul in heaven is found

This poem has a great message and although it is short, is packed full of meaning. I especially like these lines! Cast down any imagination, argument or thought
That threatens your freedom, which Jesus has bought
At times I had a hard time understanding some lines, I think if you added punctuation that would help a lot.
Your passion and love for the Lord shines through in your words. Congratulations in placing in the top 15 of your level.
