I miss you, and I love you. Katrina has come, and I am scared beyond words. I do not fear the imminent destruction of the world around me; the thought that scares me is that you may very well be the most beautiful woman to ever be adorned in black. Black could never bring out the sapphire hues in your eyes that glimmer when you smile. It will never do. I pray to God that He will bring me out of this, and that I will once again hear the sweet symphony of your beautiful voice. Stay strong, my love, no matter what, we will be together again, whether in this life or the next.
As the storm surges her way through, I attempt to remain calm. I'm trying to squeeze past the reminders of my own fragile mortality, and clinging desperately to the last straws of faith that have attached themselves to my heart. This dark hotel room only makes the desire to be home all the heavier; to open tired eyes to the best gift God has ever given me, to feel the loving goosebumps flooding over me as we brush past each other in the hallway, to sipping coffee in our favourite cafe on the corner. I miss you, I love you, and I long to return to your side.
Forever yours,
Charles

That would fit. Look - now, I'm weeping. Black? She's wearing black? Come back Charles - come back! :o)
