“What have we done? How could we have done this! One thing, He gave us ONE thing! One rule, one restriction, one command! We are able to do anything we want except this one thing. And yet, that is the very thing we did!”

“What are we going to do now? How could we have been tricked so easily? How will we ever be able to face Him? Do you think He’ll know?”

“Yes, He will know. Look at us, we look different now. Don’t you think?”

“Yes, I had noticed. Things seem different now. I feel cold. And there is a horrible feeling in my stomach. My heart, it hurts. Do you have the same feeling?”

“I do. I have never felt this way before. I can’t shake this awful feeling. Look around, everything is different. The colors, they don’t seem as bright, everything is dim now. And look...the animals, they look as if they have been crying. Do you think our crime has affected them too?”

“Perhaps, we’ve never been in this situation before, I’m not sure what will happen. Do you think He will still let us walk with Him? Oh, how I love to walk with Him and ask Him all of my questions and learn from Him. I have a horrible feeling that this wonderful world we live in is coming to an end.”

“Ahh, I love to just sit and be near Him. His voice is so kind and soothing. The thought of not being with Him again terrifies me. I thought this would make us like Him. We could be like Him! He is so wonderful, of course, I would want to be like Him! I thought this would be a wonderful feeling, but it’s not, it’s just the opposite.”

“It was a lie, you and I were told a lie. And we chose to believe it. I can’t believe we were that stupid! We walk and talk with our very own Creator every day and yet, with a few smooth words, we gave it all up. This beautiful garden, will He even let us stay? Will we have to leave our home?”

“I feel as if this is the end of our relationship with Him as we know it. It has forever changed. There is now something between us. We made a choice and because of that choice, we ended the life that we know. Things will never be the same again. What Should we do? I hear Him coming!”

“Quick, hide!”

“Adam? Eve? Where are you?”

I loved it! Perhaps it is because we both wrote about the same thing in this week's Challenge? Who knows? But I can't wait to find out who wrote this great dialogue between our first parents...and ask them to critique my pitiful rendition of same story, same time, same place. Great Job! And so creative!

well done, but I felt that you taked of crime and choice more than the sin caused by disobedience. I feel other than that, especially the part about the animals looked like they had been crying was very touching. Please continue with your great writing.......I wish I had a spell checker on this review, sorry for spelling errors.
