Born in England, and brought to America
at the advanced age of 6 weeks old, my parents had become members of the dominant religion in Utah,and left all behind for this new belief.
In my early thirtys, My husband became a Born Again Christian. Soon my children and I also accepted Jesus Christ.
My life has never been the same since, and I praise The Lord for my salvation.
I have wanted to write since being a small child. I have sent in two stories, and received the rejection slips, then after marriage and children put writing on the back burner.
I am an avid reader, and never go to sleep untill I do some reading.
I just found this web site, and this looks wonderful. A chance for others to critique my work is great. We did that in our Oil Painting class, and it made a world of differance in how I vewied my paintings.
I am looking foreward to being a part of this group, and hope to have many of you share your honest opinions concerning my writing, as I will with you.
I have been an Activity Director for 2 different Nursing homes and 1 Retirement Village for the past 17 years.Just in that occupation I have a wealth of memories that are fun, serious and heart breaking.
Currently God has blessed me so that I do not have to work right now. I have been home for the past year. I also have the worlds best husband, who is so good to me. We live 4 blocks from the beach in Oregon, and have a dog, and 4 birds.
My husband and I have always been encouraged and excited by Bible Prophecy. This past 8 months I have been studying several commentaries by respected authors on Revelation and Daniel as well as the Old Testament Prophets. I am saddened by the fact that Prophecy is rarely spoken of by many preachers, and many people are unaware of the Rapture, and the return of Jesus at any time.
Prophecy being full filled is an excellent opportunity to witness to non-belivers.
Prophecy has been an exciting part of the Bible to study, And while there are some Preachers who get carried away with this subject, We do not go beyond what the Bible tells us, which is really quite a bit.
Well, I hope to get to know you better in the months ahead.
