Lets us start at the beginning,
when God first created man.
And how He molded the clay,
in His soft and gentle hands.
And how He took from Adam’s rib, and created Eve.
The start of the beginning when man was first conceived.
Then time went by, many years did pass.
Sin was born, and it seemed pain would last.
Then a great man walked the earth,
climbed a mountain, to speak of God’s worth.
Came down from high with words written on stone,
the Ten Commandments to God’s people he showed.
Then again, time went by, many years did pass,
Sin was reborn and it seemed pain would last.
Not all men understood from the start,
of where they stood in God’s heart.
Then from Joseph’s wife a son was born,
and many a men of Him would scorn.
Then again, time went by, many years did pass,
Sin took hold, and it seemed for man, would last.
But God knew, from the very start,
where man stood in His heart.
And He knew that sin was a passing flame,
That His Son Jesus would bring forgiveness with His pain.
And time goes by, as many years shall pass,
man forgets that Christ’s Love shall last.
For time and eternity, for all to see
the day God’s Son is brought back to you and me.
