Like to crack, as a whip upon the ground
2. To click, as a mechanism or as the jaws
Or teeth coming together without applause
3. To move, strike, shut, catch with sharp sound
As a door, lid, lock or a quick short pound
4. To act or move with quick, abrupt motion
Like snapping to attention as in devotion
5. To break suddenly or a cracking sound,
As something slender or brittle are found
6. To make a photo without formal posing,
7. To make a quick bite; a sudden mouth closing
8. To utter a quick, sharp sentence or speech,
A command, reproof, or retort making breech
9. To be radiant; sparkle; flash, as the eyes
Speech of wit as well as awfully wise
10. To seize with or take, buy or obtain
As with a quick bite without refrain
11. To secure, judge or vote in much haste
As snapping a bill in Congress ['tis much waste]
Of course SNAP can be other parts too
Such as nouns and adjectives to name a few
Phrases like: This job’s a snap to be sure,
Or an unexpected cold snap, get out the fur
Snapdragon; snap lock or just a snap bean
Many are its uses if you see what I mean
