He speaks.
Immediately, the wind ceases. All is quiet. The water is smooth; not a ripple can be seen. The rain stops and the stars shine brilliantly. The only effects I can see of the storm are the tattered masts of the boat, lighted by glow of the moon. The peace that flows through me is like a warm blanket wrapping itself around my shivering body. Reverently, I stand in awe of the Maker and all of His glory.
And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. Luke 8:24
