In Exodus 35, we see the beginning of the Lord’s tabernacle with the Lord’s vision. Is this how we begin our homes- with vision from the Lord? Or do we just jump in, hoping to somehow make it through the day to day jobs that demand more from us than we think we have? Or maybe we are gifted in an area that isn’t prominently displayed in “simply keeping the home.” We have been given greater visions than this, have we not? Setting the table is an art? Cooking food three times a day is a gift? Changing diapers and wiping noses, dusting tables, and folding the clothes? This is how I am to use what the Holy Spirit has blessed me with? The Lord’s vision of the tabernacle required work on our part, just as His vision for our glory requires work on our part. He stirred the women’s hearts with wisdom, wisdom to get up and spin their goat’s hair. Talent-they probably had plenty. But God stirred them to use it to do a task that some, maybe even many, felt was drudgery, diminishing, and minimizing their full abilities not only as artists, but women. These women however, knew that the splendor of the tabernacle would never be fulfilled had they sat around, discussing how hurt they were because they could not utilize their gifts the way they saw fit. Or bemoaning their lot in life- did the Lord really expect them to just spin away at goat’s hair? Doesn’t He know I specialize in fine linens, or gold plating? Being wise, they went to work, resulting in the finished product of the tabernacle- the physical place of the presence of the Lord among them. Yes, it took more than just goats hair to create the final product, but what an honor to be part of the glory and vision of the Lord. Are wives understanding this today? Are we allowing our hearts to be stirred with wisdom and our hands to be willing to do the Lord’s task set before us, what ever it may be?
With hearts humbled and and hands willing, wise women commit without complaint to the Lord’s work. Other’s see “goats hair”, the daily grind, the humdrum of life, the tedious duties that without which would result in complete chaos. But these women, their hearts being stirred with the wisdom of the Lord, don’t just cook up some food; they nourish their families and guests with manna from heaven as well as from the hearth. They don’t just set the table; they prepare a table before the Lord with masterpiece center pieces that add to the Holy Spirit saturated atmosphere of their homes. Taking the mundane and making it matter, this is how they are stirred up in wisdom.

I believe it should be goat's hair with an apostrophe, since the hair belongs to the goat. However, I'm not sure how it was written in the Bible verse. Put spacing between paragraphs to make it easier on the eyes for your readers.
