<b>R</b>ed hearts, stained with sin, cry out for redemption.
<b>E</b>verlasting life can be ours,
<b>D</b>elivered through the cross
<i>Then.</i>
<b>O</b>ur good works are like rust, ruining the iron tools.
<b>R</b>egarded as the ultimate laws, ordinances were passed down.
<b>A</b>nguish came to those who did not follow them.
<b>N</b>ever remembering for long the ultimate purpose of the law,
<b>G</b>eneration after generation
<b>E</b>ngaged in man's idea of perfection.
<i>Later</i>
<b>Y</b>earning for the coming Messiah,
<b>E</b>agerly they waited for that special day.
<b>L</b>ingering in the evening sky, a special star
<b>L</b>it the Way.
<b>O</b>bservant men would seek Him.
<b>W</b>isdom that surpassed their own slept in the hay.
<i>Soon</i>
<b>G</b>od became a man.
<b>R</b>edemption would fall upon Him.
<b>E</b>veryone, or so it seemed, rejected Him.
<b>E</b>ven one of those closest to Him.
<b>N</b>eglected on the tree.
<i>Next</i>
<b>B</b>ursting forth,
<b>L</b>ight filled the blue sky.
<b>U</b>ndefeated by death, the grave could not hold Him.
<b>E</b>ncased in light, He ascended to heaven.
<i>Presently</i>
<b>I</b>njustice reigns on earth.
<b>N</b>ight descends, as the sky turns dark.
<b>D</b>one in the name of God,
<b>I</b>nfidels try to take the glory.
<b>G</b>od sees through the covering.
<b>O</b>ur human atonement means nothing.
<i>Future</i>
<b>V</b>ictorious at last,
<b>I</b>mmanuel will come as King, purple robes of royalty around Him.
<b>O</b>mega. The end.
<b>L</b>ight will pierce the darkness.
<b>E</b>arth as it is known now will pass.
<b>T</b>hroughout the ages, He will reign on the throne.
<b><i>Forever.</i></b>
