Wow! This is beyond my words. You touched my heart in many ways (plus I learned a new word, which is always a plus!). The pictures you painted on my mind could only have been etched by a true artist. Even though poetry isn't one of my favorite genres, this is definitely one of my all-time favorites.

Superb imagery - taking the ordinary and making it royally extraordinary. I'll never look at a dandelion puff again as just a weed in seed. Congrats on your first place finish.

Wow! I'm really late on my comments, but trying to get caught up. Just beautiful, and congratulations on getting 1st place!

Love the imaginative touch. Your imagery is highly prosetic (that's my take on a skilled mix of prose and poetry - rather than a misspelled prosthetic!)
Great work, and congrats on your wins.

Beautiful! I love the line "of chardonnay to sherry to port,"....very interesting comparison. :) Congratulations on a well-deserved BOB! :)

I saved your poem under my favorites, and I still go back and read it from time to time.

I'm excited it got honored in this way.
