Shann Hall-LochmannVanBennekom has been a member of FaithWriters for over ten years. Since May 2011, she has been a moderator on the forums. Shann is the mother of three outstanding young adults. Emily (and her husband, Andy), Quinten (and his wife Kelly), and Lydia (her husband, Justin) make her life exciting. She and her husband, Christopher, enjoy spending time with their granddaughters, Payton, Lyncoln, and Maisie. They are welcoming a new granddaughter in June 2024. Shann is thrilled and has started writing stories for the precious little ones. Shann enjoys writing and has a dream of one day finishing her children's Grow with Me stories that are about a girl named Wrigley Grace Fieldings. She has also done storytelling at libraries, summer recreation programs, local churches, and schools. Her first picture book, Tie My Shoe, was released in 2013 and has been a great success. She has had several articles and stories published online, in other people's blogs, in anthologies, and in newspapers. Since joining FW, Shann began honing her editing skills and works as a professional editor. Although she still enjoys writing, she believes her real gift is helping others perfect their stories. Shann has gained so much from FaithWriters and is delighted to pay it forward by being a challenge buddy to many writers ranging from level one all the way to Masters. Shann has been blessed a thousand times over by Faith writers, and the site has helped her in many ways. She's honored to be a member of this wonderful family called FaithWriters.
