Green grass friendly to feet spread to infinity.
Pink roses in bloom, perfuming our earth.
Yellow daffodils wave in the breeze.
Red clay dirt fertile and pulsing with life welcome the raindrops descending in sheets.
Ablaze is the sun in full summertime glory
Blessing us with essential Vitamin D.
White ibises stalk gracefully in the open fields picking at worms, while black vultures and red-capped cranes fly in swirling graceful patterns overhead.
Tawny burrowing owls stand watch from their perches outside their dens.
In gigantic oak trees, full of sap, grey squirrels sing and scamper for free
Palm branches wave in the gentle Florida breeze and seem to ‘clap their hands’.
In the distance, many miles away, gentle hills roll upwards
Leading to ice-capped mountains where wild cats and goats, wolves, and leopards leap in freedom.
Our Father created these as blessings for mankind.
So, as daytime turns into night the sun goes down.
The darkness shelters the creeping nocturnal animals as they stealthily seek their food.
For us, it’s time to be still.
Time to reflect as the moon smiles on the horizon.
Know that as God rested, so must we.
Daily life follows a twenty-hour cycle, so take your rest!
‘It’s a gift from God’. Let your body recover till morning rises.
Come Sabbath rest; we are blessed to remember His Goodness to us.

O Yahweh my God, you are very great.
How many are your works, O Yahweh;
all of them you have done in wisdom.
The earth is full of your creatures.
