The United States of America observes many days that they use to get long week-ends from employment. Schools get days for teachers work days and weeks off for major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Work places do not get weeks off unless the establishment closes down. Many do not close down due to the fact that it costs too much to restart.
Many people get uptight over the use of the word Holiday around Christmas. The word did not appear just lately, for over sixty years that I am aware of, this word has been published and spoken.
When we research the word, we find it means Holy Day with respect to GOD. Somewhere along the years, it was changed to Holiday. The LORD said, “Be ye holy, for I your LORD GOD am Holy.”. In another scripture, it (the Holy Bible) states “Without holiness, it is impossible to please GOD.”
Time just is too short, for those who are not ready to be holy before HIM. I pray you are ready for HIS returning. In the military, the troops have to be ready, and in the medical field, they have to be ready for the unexpected emergency.
There is a song with the words, “Are you ready, are you ready are you ready for the justment day.” The days are drawing nigh for JESUS’ Second Coming. For those that are ready, need to make others aware of this and witness either one-on-one or a group.
There will be days which are strictly holy and all will know the LORD. There will be no need for preaching HIS word. What a day that will be, when JESUS we shall see. We will sing “Holy, Holy, Holy”.
We just observed Easter Holidays. We observed the remembrance of JESUS’ Resurrection. Have heard it said that JESUS did not really die, and the grave was not closed. HE was truly crucified and placed in a grave with a huge stone placed before it. GOD raised HIM from the dead and come from the tomb.
Joseph, one of his disciples put HIM in a grave that he owned, and when they came to the grave and it was empty except the grave clothes which HE had folded. When HE was was speaking to some of HIS disciples, HE told them that HE had “a fold they knew not of.” I believe that it was HIS grave clothes folded for the promise of HIS return.
JESUS observed the holy days of the Old Testament and wants us to do the same such as the Feast Days, Jubilee, and the Communion which HE HIMSELF brought to the people as a “Remembrance of ME”. HE does not want us to observe holy days as a commercial day for sales, drinking, and evil activities.
Here is a poem written with the letters of HOLIDAY:
Holy
Observance of our
LORD.
Immanuel
Deliverer
‘ Almighty
Yah
I hope you have a holy day in which you observe HIS holiness.

A tiny suggestion -make sure you say where the verses are found and what translation is used. Also be careful in quoting songs so you don't infringe upon copyrights. Also give the title and composer if it is found to be in the public domain. You can do this in a footnote at the end and it won't count in your total word count.
Overall, I think you did a nice job staying on topic while presenting your POV.
