To God be the glory Who gave us the Holy Bible as a compass with which every Saint of Christ can navigate the seas of his life, successfully.

It is worthy of note that those who do not follow Jesus Christ as disciples also "feast" on the Word of God to reap its benefits. Many pretend as if they have nothing to do with it while others admit the efficacy and efficiency of the application of the Holy Bible to their life.

That is one of the reasons Jesus Christ pointed out that the children of darkness are wiser in their generation than children of light.

It is time now for every Saint of Christ to read and live the Scriptures like never before.

There is a story of a man who gave different quantities to his servants according to each person's ability, five to one, two to another, and one to the third person.

On the day of reckoning, the third servant who was given a talent revealed the enemy within him that did not allow him (nor will allow him) to become someone who matters in life.

His excuse or explanation for non-performance was, "I was afraid..." This was the enemy within him that opened the door for those outside.

His being afraid helped him to bury what was to be used for his greatness. He hid it in the ground never to see the light of the day.

This denied him access to the commendation of his Master as "a good and faithful servant". Instead, he was seen as "a slothful and wicked servant" that he was. He could not enter into the joy of his Lord nor be made ruler over more things. He lost out totally. The one talent given to him was taken away from him and given to the man who had five talents.

Beloved Pilgrim, you are on the threshold of the door of year twenty twenty-four, will fear (the enemy within you) allow you to achieve anything of value? Fear creates excuses which leads to failure. It gives room to point accusing fingers at the guiltless to cover one's weakness or wickedness as well as slothfulness.

Studies have shown that the Holy Bible contains about three hundred and sixty-five "fear not" or its associated words. This simply means that there is a "fear not" to open the door of faith for each day for you. You should not be afraid of anything. Instead of being afraid, be a man of faith. Begin each day with faith and its declaration.

Take steps of faith so that you will not give yourself to wickedness, excuses, and blaming the innocent for your fear. Fear paralyzes and demoralizes. Don't give in to it.
Let faith replace fear so that you will be able to live a triumphant life in the coming year and beyond. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.

Matthew 25:21,25-26; Luke 16:8.

The Parable of the Talents is very revealing for it teaches us
that if we do not use what has been given to us then we will be
considered "slothful and wicked servants."

The Lord Jesus didn't even attribute such language to the woman taken in adultery as he did to the slothful servant who buried his one talent.

People often say if I only had more of this or more of that then I would...and they make their boast but the fact is they would do nothing if they are not using what the Lord has already given them whether few or many talents.

The problem was "fearfulness" as you pointed out and where will the fearful and unbelieving end up?

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8

Perfect love casteth out fear and so the true Christian believer
operates not from fear but from love.
