***1. First let me echo what the Apostle Paul said about himself in Romans 7:18 "For I know that in me (that is in my flesh)dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." *** 2. That's me in a nutshell. ***3. If I have true faith it's because God in His sovereign mercy and grace gave it to me. As that old hymn says, 'Nothing in my hands I Bring; simply to the cross I cling. ***4. Life hasn't been an easy road for me to travel on but I thank my heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ that His grace is sufficient for any trial or affliction I face or have faced. "Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word." Psalm 119:67 5. My father and my mother were never willing or able to care for me consistently so my great grandmother reared me until my uncle and aunt took me under their wings. This was during the rock n' roll sixties and Vietnam War. 6. From there I moved to Mary Graham Hall which is a temporary children's shelter in French Camp,CA and then on to a foster home where I attended Linden High School. By high school graduation I had attended eight public schools. ***7. After high school I entered the Marine Corp Reserve. Little did I know how tough it would be but I survived and went back to my home town of Stockton where I graduated from San Joaquin Delta College and attended the University of the Pacific majoring in Communication. I did well in drama and the speech team and later honed my speaking skills with Toastmasters. ***8. During the first 38 years of my life I probably had over 30 jobs ranging from selling Electrolux vacuum cleaners door-to-door during my college days, Amway MLM, selling used cars, working at groups homes as a counselor and at a juvenile detention center for delinquents, food product demonstrator in grocery stores. NOTE: I've sold many things including: Fuller Brush, my homemade chocolate chip cookies at flea markets and a local convenience store. I've cleaned carpets and owned and operated two businesses: Chimney cleaning and junk removal. ***9. During the winter months in northern California I worked as a counselor in group homes because the junk removal business was slow due to the cold and rainy weather. ***10. In 1994 after deliberating whether to finish my bachelor's degree at a Christian bible college I decided against it because of my desire to pursue an acting career so in 1996 I moved to Hollywood. ***11. My first year I made it into the Screen Actor's Guild and got an agent. I did a student film, independent film (The Preacher and the Skinhead) and extra work in several films like My Best Friend's Wedding, Austin Powers, Mad City, The Bachelor and others before launching a successful, new and improved junk removal service. Acting now was on the back burner and something the Lord gave me convictions against. After wandering from the Lord for too many years and doing a lot of self-examination I've been blessed to find God's mercy drawing me back to Himself and giving me the gift and passion for street preaching. ***12.
