Can You Trust Me With This Year?

(Proverbs 3:5 & 6)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” (NKJV)

God has so much in store for us this year.  His heart is full of good plans and heavenly purposes which He wants to see us walk in.  We can live this year differently to the ones before and see all the “more” He has in store when we receive His leading and direction.  It may not feel natural or easy to release this whole year to the Lord, especially when feelings of anxiety or fear arise about the days or months ahead.  However it is the best thing we could do – to commit it all to Him and rest securely in the knowledge that our Father wants what is best for us His children.  He has been through the whole year already and prepared our way.  He knows what this year holds and we know that whatever He brings is good.  So how do we trust God with the entire year? By trusting Him with each day!  

“Can you trust Me for each day precious child?  It is quite easy to do.  All you have to say is “yes” to My way, and let me move with you through your day. Most of My children have not yet discovered the power of this partnership I have given you.  I came to give you life and strength, and to help you in all things, (not just some), but can you trust Me, beloved one?  You cannot live the heavenly life according to your own understanding because it is not about what happens in your mind.   Trusting Me is all about the heart, your whole heart, and it arises from the love that you have for Me.  All My plans for you are beautiful and rich with My love for you, but this year is going to be extra amazing because I am calling you into a new kind of trust dear one, the kind that makes Me smile, the faith that really pleases Me.  I am calling you to trust Me even when it makes no sense to you, and when you cannot see the way ahead.  Say “yes” to Me and keep holding My hand; refuse to panic or give in to fear, even when you cannot understand.  I am working everything out for your good.  Trust your children to Me; trust your ministry and your marriage to Me.  Trust your finances, your health, your career to Me.  If you will keep your eyes on Me, we will walk right through the Red Sea and make it through.  There is a promised land, a whole new season, waiting on the other side!  It is going to be different this year, so take heart My precious one.  I have already won for you every battle you will have to face.  It is really going to be okay!”   

Despite the many disasters we are seeing around the world, whether they are volcanos or wars, we are going to see heaven manifested mightily through this year.  In the midst of difficulties, the love and mercy of the Father will be seen clearly, as people rise up to receive their healing and acknowledge that He is truly God.  It is going to be all about your love for Jesus and your trust in God, and how the Holy Spirit speaks to you and takes you to higher ground.  Know that no weapon formed against you can prosper.  The Most High has made you His holy habitation and wants to lead and guide you, so everything will be okay.  This year we will learn to trust solely in our Lord and King and not to depend on ourselves, hallelujah!  It is the year of the favor of the Lord and we are headed for great things!
