A New Year Blessing For 2016:

"All Things Are New!"

(2 Corinthians 5:17)

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” (NKJV)

At the start of this new year, we have been given a fresh, clean page to write a story.  Let it be a story which is filled with light and victory, and one which will be a blessing to every life it touches.  You may have had many struggles and battles during the last year, but those old things have passed away.  The Holy Spirit speaks new life and power into us today as we stand on the Word of God and declare it into this new year. We lay down a foundation for the weeks and months before us in the fresh new page we have been gifted as we declare that “all things have become new”, hallelujah! 

Dear friend, as we declare these Words of God with faith, there is a creative power released into our lives.  Forget the former things (Isaiah 43:18 & 19) and stop dwelling on the past.  God is doing something new in and around you.  You will begin to see it come forth as you believe and call it, in the power of the name of Jesus.  You have crossed over into something new.  God has released limitless potential and endless possibilities into your life and into this new year and it is up to you what you do with it.  Believe that this year is a year of fulfilled dreams, and a year of God’s grace and favor.  There is nothing you cannot overcome or achieve if you trust God and partner with the Holy Spirit.     

“My precious child, this new year, I am calling you to step into your real identity.  Yes, you are a beautiful brand new creation.  You were purchased by the stripes of My Son and have been cleansed in the precious Blood.  That old “you” has gone, and there is a new person resurrected in the image of Jesus Christ.  You are My righteousness and truth in Jesus.  You are filled with My glorious might.  I declare that the darkness has to flee as you yield to My Word and My Spirit, and you live in the power of My holy light.  You are My beloved Son, My beautiful daughter.  Draw near to Me this season, without fear and without uncertainty.  Come to Me with joy, knowing that My love is upon you and I delight in you and the newness of what My Spirit is bringing forth in you.  You are My treasured and My very much loved new creation”!

Eight is a number that signifies new beginnings.  This eighth day of this new year, I do believe that the Lord is releasing something new.  This new page we have been given is really a heavenly gift which is alive with real power and possibility.  Some of us have seen cycles of disappointment or loss or infirmity repeated in successive years because we may have not let go of the beliefs, wounds or declarations from previous years.  If we want to see a different result, we cannot keep doing what we did in the past.  To get a different harvest, we have to sow a different seed.  Decide today to forgive anyone who betrayed you, disappointed you, or grieved your heart in the past.  Disconnect yourself from the voice that reminds you of those things, and even of mistakes you made.  It could be that you may even need to forgive yourself, but let the Holy Spirit help you to do this so that you can begin to write a new positive word upon that fresh page for 2016, this year of the favor and grace of the Lord.  This Scripture does not tell us that some things are made new.  We are told that all things have been made new.  This is the reality, and this is the gift we have received to draw from and live in this power every day of every year, hallelujah!

I declare the abundant love of the Father, the peace and joy of Jesus, and the living power of the Holy Spirit to fill your year.  2016 is marked for the glory of God.  Let it be a year in which you know and love Jesus more than ever before, a year of seeing the manifestation of His presence more than ever before.  I pray that you will remember this year as the one of God’s grace and favor, and that you will write a beautiful new story on the new page of 2016.  It is true that there is much uncertainty, anxiety and turbulence in the world around us, but God is with you and has already gone before you through this whole year, making a roadway for you through the wilderness and streams in the desert.  He says “trust in Me and you will see that this year will be special when you walk through it with Me”!

Be blessed and walk in His favor.  He is making all things new!
