The following is a letter from a young lady I met when I was attending one of Dr. R. J. Rushdoony's lectures or gatherings at his home in northern California. I found this particular gal not only attractive but friendly and communicative. Apparently she and I had the same spiritual and intellectual interests. Below is a letter she wrote to me prior to her attending college.

Carl:

Hello! How are you doing? I'm doing great. Last week I went down to Biola and saw a lot of my old friends and Felicity was one of them. I told her that I had met you, that was fun. It was good to see her again.

This letter is just going to be a quick one to tell you that a few days before Thanksgiving I am moving to southern California to live with my mother. I will be getting a job down there and preparing to start at Biola again in January and, praise God, I have managed to save up $500. towards my down payment. Only 500 more to go and I'll be able to register. Then tuition costs, hopefully, will be only in a $300 monthly payment. At least I won't have to pay rent at her place either.

The degree that I have decided to go for is the BA in English/Communications secondary education. I've finally made up my mind; at this point anyway. I will get a teaching credential and still be able to do some writing.

Have you done much writing lately? Are you still helping John (my former Hollywood actor friend John Saunders aka John Quade) on his campaign? Tomorrow is the big day!

Write to me at either address and I will receive it. I am interested in what you are doing and how you have progressed in God using you as a communicative tool.
