That’s all I am asking
That’s all I need
That’s enough for me.

Give me one day of your life
To be with you, talk to you
To smile at you
To spend time with you.

Give me one day of your life
To gaze into your eyes
To express love
To live the moment to my heart’s content.
I don’t come often
I don’t come for long.

Give me one day of your life
Every moment is rare
Ever rare moment is precious.
Every precious moment is valuable
Every valuable moment infuses life.

Give me one day of your life
Who has seen tomorrow with its mysteries?
Let the pain of yesterday not hinder today
Renew love to the fullest.
Who knows when such a day will knock again in life?

Give me one day of your life
To call my own special day.
A day I can hold on to
A day I can treasure.
A day which can make new memories
A day to be remembered forever.
