Lord, never let go of my hand
My hand may falter, my hand may tremble
Hold it in a firm grasp.
With your hand in mine I can tide the storm
I can walk on the waters with faith
I can go through any trial.

Lord, never let go of my hand
At times, I do not have the strength to stand
Keep me standing when the winds blow.
When my confidence is low
Be my strength, my guiding force.

Lord, never let go of my hand
Help me cross the bridge of life.
The path may turn rocky
But with you by my side
I can make it through.

Lord, never let go of my hand
The night is very dark
My eyes long for the light.
I may stumble, I may fall
But in your tight clasp
I can walk without dread.

Lord, never let go of my hand
Time changes in the blink of a second
My mind might be in turmoil
My heart may be down cast.
Let your grace flow through me
Let your healing hand touch me.

Lord, never let go of my hand
Don’t allow my grip to slacken
Don’t let my hand slip away.
Let it be folded with yours
And I will hold on to your hand always.
