Tossed to and fro on a restless sea.
As they float by, my nights are long.
My heart’s weighed down by a thousand wrongs.
Memories play a lonesome song,
I'm trapped by the past, I long to be free.
My heart’s weighed down by a thousand wrongs,
Tossed to and fro, on a restless sea.
On humble knees, I crawl to You,
To plead for undeserved forgiveness.
The words are long past due.
On humble knees, I crawl to You,
I see You smile and hopes renew.
Your outreached hands both touch and bless
On humble knees, I crawl to You,
To plead for undeserved forgiveness.
I can’t forget the thousand wrongs,
You hold me close and love me.
“O Little One, to Me belong.”
I can’t forget the thousand wrongs,
“Forgiven, my child, forgotten and gone.”
Almighty forgets? How can that be?
I can’t forget the thousand wrongs,
You hold me close and love me.
(Hebrews 8:12 KJV)
"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins
and their iniquities will I remember no more."
