Are crystals fair, concealed in ore, sought out for their obscured worth.
Volcanic pipes let magma buoy many types of ore up through
The crust, where miners, delving diamonds, seek to find a treasure true.
Then miners yield their finds to cutters skilled to wield their tools to pare
And polish diamonds in the rough in to the brightest gems so rare.
It takes much time, assessing what will show its prime, and then refine,
Removing flaws, revealing facets that will cause the gem to shine.
As God refines, we have to give Him time to shape, reveal
The precious gems He knows He formed, obscured by sin, yet no less real.
Each one unique of shade and shape, and none ought speak against His choice,
Not focusing on flaws, but to the beauty cling, and thus rejoice!
