"Let there be light."
Light flooded the vast plain of nothingness, penetrating the darkness and chasing it away. The light hummed with energy, pulsating and dancing to God's rhythm.
And it was good.
The waters separated, swirling to their designated places – The heavens and the waters. Their hum joined the light's in perfect harmony.
And it was good.
The waters below crashed in a great crescendo, making way for the dry land as it rumbled in to place, joining the song. Plants sprouted, filling the land and swaying in the breeze in perfect coordination.
And it was good.
The great light gathered into spheres, rolling and churning as they formed the sun, moon, and stars. A perfect triad chord hummed along, adding to the intricacy of the great symphony.
And it was good.
Great creatures filled the seas, their hums and clicks making a joyful noise, as the birds above joined in, offering the melody.
And it was good.
From the mighty to the small, creatures of all types roamed the earth, from the ants underground to the majestic lion. Each made music in its own way. The gorillas provided the percussive beat, as the elephants trumpeted their song. Man was formed after His very likeness, and offered the lyrics to the great song of creation.
And it was good.
And then, with a quick flick, there was a brief moment of holy silence, as all creation bowed in honor to their great Creator. Then, the hums began again, and each element of creation offered its part. With crescendos and decrescendos, staccato notes and flowing phrases, all in perfect tune to the Maestro's direction. And then, He rested.
And it was good.
