Her heart a perfect womb, they grow and flourish there
She adds a dash of dreams, impressions, joy and pain
The threads that make up life, the sunshine and the rain
And then she stirs in colour, the blush that fills the sky
The pinkness of a petal, the river rushing by
A scattering of violets, and warmth from glowing coals
The blackness and despair of grieving broken souls
She adds the senses too, the feel of silk so pure
The gentle touch of love and perfume’s sweet allure
A dash of mountains grand, and views that fill the heart
A burst of cheerful song and lemon juice so tart
Emotions swell the mix, a sense of wondrous awe
A feathering of peace and sadness fresh and raw
A splash of towering rage, adds sparks that burn and sear
The healing power of love, drives out all trace of fear
And so they mix and meld, and form a bubbling brew
The heart that incubates, is making something new
The inspiration comes, the story starts to grow
The writer draws forth words, allowing them to flow
And as the evenings pass, she cuts and shapes the tale
And polishes and shines, until it cannot fail
To touch the ones who read, and make them stop and think
To understand how lives, are joined and interlink
This is the craft of writing, to spin a story great
A fictional adventure, or a passage with great weight
A book that’s made for children, a magazine or two
A journal or a paper, a tragic tale that’s true
And so she gathers words, and nurtures them with care
Her heart a perfect womb, they grow and flourish there
Her words may reach a few, or millions worldwide
But still she keeps on writing, the words come from inside

Sublime.
What a picture!
Truly beautiful. Showing (both by the words carefully chosen and the picture presented) such a deft touch of writing artistry.
Does that make sense? I doubt it. I'm blown away here.
