I wonder what God
has in store for me today?

In my life I have shopped around
for who God was.
I have been here and there looking.
But all the shopping I did,
nothing.
No matter where I looked,
I could not find him. even when
I owned a shop, I did not see God
was the One that provided it to me.

I felled into sin by looking
in the wrong places.
nowhere,
nothing,
I was alone.
That's what I thought.

I fell into drugs, like a fool
thought they would lead me to Him.
But, nothing happened.
What could I do to find him?
Ok I gave up.

One day I was driving home
to commit suicide.
I was in a thirty year drug addiction.,
I was crying, and praying to God.
I said, "If I had just one person to hug me,
maybe I would believe that You were real?

I missed the turn to my home.
I thought I can't even do that right.
As I came over a hill, I saw a big cross on a
church. In my drunken stupor, I thought,
"I've heard of this church, they have a singles
meeting. I'll go there and shop around
for a woman, con her into making love to me."
This was how sinful I was.

When I walked in, I saw all these people.
They were all dressed in nice clothes.
I was wearing my motorcycle outfit,
a buck knife on my side, my hair was shoulder length,
my eyes were red from crying.
I sit in the back row trying to be invisible.

Finally the pastor said, " If you want to meet
God, come up to the front in the garden of prayer."
I thought, "This is the last chance to meet this God."
I was crying and praying for forgiveness because
I knew God would be mad at me for killing myself.

As I prayed, a woman come up and
knelt beside me. She said, "I know what you
need," and hug me. How did she know that?
I only said that to God.
That night I gave my life to God.
That was thirty years ago.

That night I found that God
was not in the world, but in me.
My drug addiction was gone.
I never took a drug after that night.

Now I pray in a quiet place. Before that
I prayed to impress to people around me.
Now I know Jesus, He is in my heart and
in my life. No matter where I go, I have this
running conversation with God, all the day long.
And every day he shows me favors.

Now I know I am a child of the most high God.
He has wiped my tears.
I found that Jesus died for my sins.
Now I am forgiven by the blood of Jesus.
I don't have to shop anymore, I am here
with Jesus in me and the Holy Spirit to guide me.

I found that God really loves me and,
I love with Him. Amen!!!
