lord over me all day.
The pains they cause are great
words empty when I pray.
Don’t know what to tell God
I hide my head in shame.
I ask for forgiveness
it always is the same.
The pressure starts to build
when I step out of there.
My sins poured back on me
success is never near.
One day I found this door.
A sign read enter in,
tell Me all about it
confess to Me your sin.
A Voice came from the mist
removed me from my fault.
Put me like east is from west
like pepper is from salt.
Now I stand here ready
to serve what way I can.
Once a lowly sinner
I now stand here a man.
I no longer worry
God has made me strong.
Jesus stands ‘twixt me and sin
protects me from all wrong.
My days are now much brighter
there’s no more pain or strife.
I no longer fear my ways
since Jesus saved my life.
