I thought about that fiddlin’ cat
The moon and cow and all of that
A sporting fish land out in a dish
I think they ran away in a hat?
Ten:
There is a dishy land out there
A land of royal people fair
A fantasy place of magic and grace
Sweet smells and sounds caress the air
Fifteen:
If you can dish it out in teenage land
And shrug it off like a grain of sand
You might survive the stinging hive
And get to join a grungy band
Twenty:
Outlandish is my brand of things
Tattoos and jewels and gold nose rings
Stay out all night no clue what’s right
Leave all my roots and spread my wings
Thirty:
I land out in a sinkful of dishes and say
Somewhere I must have wandered astray
But a child’s kiss brings endless bliss
And then I believe it will all be okay
Fifty:
The outlandish and foolish give way to some peace
A semblance of wisdom helps restlessness cease
At the very core there opens a door
An offering of grace and joyous release
Eighty:
The ultimate dish in the land out there
A banquet of joy far exceeding fair
Outlandish grace to end the race
I come to the dance with the Kingly heir
