Day! Shines rays on a dark soul sin-sodden.
Day! Derives delight from her impeccable light.
Day! Sings songs deep into the night.
And night . . . the lesser light observes.
Day! Dances upon a hopeless heart!
Day! Signifies a brand new start.
Day! Demonstrates her truth denuded.
Day! Shows strength that cannot be eluded.
And night . . . the lesser light is awed.
Day! Discovers the depths of a soul!
Day! Stamps out sins deadly toll.
Day! Decomposes the ravages of sin.
Day! Salutes righteousness inviting her in
And night . . . the lesser light absorbs.
Day! Determines to pierce through the dark!
Day! Strategically gives rise to her mark.
Day! Deafens the doldrums of heart.
Day! Sounds her trumpet renting darkness apart.
And night . . . the lesser light reveres.
Sun and Moon—His creation’s design
Day and night—Our Creator sublime
