My Jesus, How I love thee
I can now begin to say
My love for you has held me
In your arms day after day

You brought me from
the depths of hell
And lifted me up high
You healed my wounds
And cleansed my soul
So it will never die

I've never known
A love like Yours
And there won't be a day
That I don't love and worship you
And gratefully obey!

Gene, this is the sort of sweet poetry that really touches my heart. It was lovely - which made it all the worse that we had to disqualify it because of the word count. The minimum word count for Challenge Entries is 150 words. Your piece came in at only 74. Please keep entering the Challenge, but just keep in mind the word count limits (150 minimum and 750 maximum) and you'll be fine. Even if you just add an introduction paragraph (other than just adding a piece of Scripture) and you'll be covered. With love, Deb (Challenge Co-ordinator)
