I am my Father’s spokesman. I am God. I spoke in Old Testament times. My Father and I created the world. I sit on the right hand of the Majesty. If you want to know God, look at me. I can forgive you. I have purged your sins. No sin is too big or too small. You must come through me and you will receive salvation. You cannot get into Heaven by works alone.
I am obedient. I became a man in order to fulfil God’s plan and to identify with man’s sins. I left my status behind. All my rights and privileges were laid aside out of obedience and love for my Father. I took your place. I went to the cross. I obeyed my Father, while carrying your burden of sin.
“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” I cried. (Psalm 22 v 1)
I did not doubt God when I cried this. It was my anguish. Your sins separated me from my Father. I was poured out like water. All my bones were out of joint. My spiritual suffering was far greater than you could ever imagine or experience.
He loves you so much. You hated me. You treated me as less than human. I was a worm. You laughed, mocked and belittled me Why are you ashamed of me? Why do you ignore me? Surely I will do the same unto you! The soldiers gloated at me, revelling in my suffering. I was naked. I owned nothing. Did you clothe me? Did you stand firm beside me? My friends remained silent. They deserted and denied me. My heart melted away. No one could help me. However, I still forgave them. I died for them all.
My followers, remember my obedience. Be prepared to be obedient, even to death. Use every opportunity I give you to carry out my will for your life. Do not make plans of your own. They will never be fruitful. You are my witness, wherever you may go. Rely on me, not on yourselves. I am with you forever. I will reward your obedience.
The Holy Spirit will fill everyone who believes in me. He will empower you. He will convict you of your disobedience. I am there in your suffering. I am your friend and comforter. Nothing you experience is unknown to me. I am the only one that can walk with you through the Valley of Death. I can give you rest. You don’t have to face eternal death.
God’s will was fulfilled, relationships were renewed and reborn. My Father rewarded my obedience. I was raised to my original position. I rose to Heaven. I will reign forever as your Lord and Judge. You will all bow before me I will reward those who obey me as I obeyed and served my Lord. I don’t want you to serve out of shame or fear. Nothing you can do can get you into Heaven. I did it for you. Ask me for forgiveness and mercy and you will receive it. A new commandment I give you is to love God and your neighbour.

Accept my Gift,
Obey me,
Your Saviour,
Jesus Christ
