To step into its room
Where the ceiling drapes
Above my head in swirls
Of soft silver grays
And I can smell blossoms
As they open their petals,
Dew as it unlocks
The perfume of spring rains.
Two aromas harmonize
In my lungs and awaken
A heart of praise.
My soul spills into song
While the wind stirs
The walls of mist
And droplets brush
Across my silent face.
I stand as majestic
As the trees do
And the scent of Eucalyptus
Shakes loose from the bark,
Opens my heart to receive
Its healing gift of calm.
I breathe light but long breaths
To take in morning’s fragrance,
A creation of my Master’s hands.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Psalms 19:103 NJKV
