With the advent of the internet, social media, cable & satellite television, we are inundated daily with news of hate crimes, bullying, religious wars, and tales of families in turmoil to the point that one family member snaps and the results are devastating. The world has always had these and other issues, but in the past everyone didn’t know everything that was happening as soon as it happened. The world of right-now news feeds and television broadcasts has made the world feel like a smaller and--depending on which news stories you focus on--more evil place. Sometimes I feel as a believer in God, there isn’t a place for me in today’s world.
I have to remind myself that because I am a believer, and strive to follow the word of God, that there may not be a place for me here in the natural realm, but I have a place in the spiritual realm. Many times I feel weary, weak, and worn; I feel I’m not strong enough or fast enough or even smart enough to run this race then I am reminded of Ecclesiastes 9:11 which reads in part “…that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill...”
We don’t have to be the fastest or strongest or the best of the best to be a part of Gods’ kingdom. We only need to learn to lean on his word and trust that it is 100% true. God is not a man that he should lie is told to us in the book of Numbers. The light at the end of this tunnel called life is God. If we walk towards that light, we will find that it not only is at the end of the tunnel but shining throughout the tunnel, guiding us every step of the way.

Very nice! We await a city which hath foundations whose builder and maker is God! We are pilgrims and strangers on this earth! Amen! Hebrews 11:8-16
It's a wonder to behold how those whom the Holy Spirit indwells have the same sense of being an outcast here in this world and the longing to journey to our new home being prepared for us by our Bridegroom!
Lovely entry,
God bless~

Knowledge does not bring wisdom. Wisdom is following God.
Your article was easy to follow and easy to read.
We do have to remind ourselves often that this world is not our home, we are merely passing through it on our journey home.
If I could offer a suggestion that might help supercharge this piece... I'd start with a story that serves as an example of your first paragraph. Then go into what you said about it. At the end you could then offer a conclusion to the story, while tying it to the points made.
Keep up the great work!
God bless~
