There is warmth in all the seasons
But never in Winter where
Beings are not bold to hold the cold.
Winter is always a wonder
It is then that I ponder
On different lives that change
As the hot days start to cool by.
The green plants and trees
seem to dry and die
With the withering away
of their hopes high.
The Sun shines brightly
On all the beings below
But the heat on the bodies
Seem to be always low.
The warm sweat of Summer now becomes the frosty water
No-hand shirts become full hand shirts
The feet which wandered outside now rest inside the homes and vehicles
And the strolls in Winter become howls for Humanity.
Roads are bedecked with snow and the snow with the vehicle prints
Vehicles are ornamented with shivering beings
Beings’ bodies are bedecked with the compassionate heart of the Lord
Waiting to fill the lives in winter with the warmth of His Love.

I loved this line the best, as well as all of the rest.
This is a beautiful free verse that captures both the bitterness and beauty of winter. I really enjoyed this one.
