Opportunities present themselves within the obvious and sometimes they remain hidden from our view. The excitement of discovery is to seek out the covered mysteries of life or to stumble upon unexpected moments.
The treasures that strike our heart with the bow of a violin when struck by the delicate hand of surprise are moments that take our breath away. When we release our imagination to what could be, what might be, what could happen, then, the serene note is struck with the gentleness of a snowflake.
Expectation can become our protective shield guarding us from experiences that we choose not to seek. We can become so directed on our path that we fail to see the beauty that surrounds the roadside, the journey of our life. The risk of unexpected circumstance can render us fearful and uncomfortable because it is beyond what we know, what we plan, it is beyond our control.
The world is full of the ‘unexpected’ and we don’t have to go anywhere to find the experience because it lay within our very self. It is within ourselves that the most magnificent and extraordinary events occur. We are the creation of God and we have within us the temple of the Holy Spirit. What could be more exceptional than the true discovery of oneself!
Treasures that lay just beyond the veil of imagination can be stifled by expectation. When we invite Jesus into our lives and surrender ourselves to Him, we can begin the journey that becomes our daily life to be spent throughout a lifetime. We cannot limit our thoughts to the humanness of what we know but rather excel into the wilderness of new awakenings. We can begin to see through the eyes of Jesus and vision the world, our world, with all its beauty and hidden qualities that rests in slumber, just behind the veil.

God bless~
I had to read some of the sentences at least twice to get the meanings but they were such that it didn't stop the reading.
It is always good to be reminded that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit which is a gift we receive from God when we are baptized for the forgiveness of our sin.
Thank you for this reminder.
All that we experience as new should be thought as God opening up a little more of life to us.
Thanks for the writing.
God bless~
