To chat with you inside this hallowed site
Does fill my wee night hours with delight.
I'm savoring the pixels byte by byte,
A fragrant data stream of memory bright.
Won't you please inscribe my name within your "v (for very good)" log?
I mean, wow! What can I say?
Did ever I enjoy a tweet so sweet?
I do so love the wondrous hands and feet
That bridged the distant cyber gulf complete
So that my name you'd not have to delete
From the sealed scroll-up, scroll-down of your sovereign space book. Which by the way
Is no disgrace book,
For you my place took,
Erasing all those sins I forsook
As upon that rugged cross reference I dared look,
Search engine of all treasures in your book nook.
True, your feedback doesn't always thrill me. In fact, sometimes your critiques make me cringe. But though no discipline is pleasant at the time, I accept it, knowing that such training yields the pleasant fruit of righteousness - over time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that,
Although not every pure and righteous word
You download is what I'VE yearned to have heard,
The strong e-mail attachment you impart
Is of the sort that always pricks my heart.
So even when it goes against my grain,
I grit my teeth to boldly face the pain
And click "I like this." And I do, because I know your messages pack a powerful punch, and I feel sorry for those who do not believe them. But sadly I am also aware that your words
Will not for many "I tube" stars compute
Because their viral programs can't reboot
Those antique systems. Nor can their old man floppy discs save lost relationships.
But if they'll read your writing on their walls or take part in a message board, perhaps they'll notice the star that's pointing to your space book. Which as previously stated,
Is no disgrace book,
For you their place took
The day you died, the earth shook.
But you rose again, so says the good book,
That they upon that rugged cross might dare look,
Be accepted all as friends and join your space book.
