Come what may… IN the midst of it all, He will work it OUT
“May I speak to you in my office please?” I stood up from my executive desk chair, the one I had chosen when I was first awarded the corner office with a view. In just a few short years I had gone from “new kid on the block” to the corner office. Along with more responsibility and more overtime, comes more job security. I knew I was set… for life.
Come what may… You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider
When I ‘m handed a pink slip at work
You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider
When all possessions are taken away
You are STILL Jehovah Jireh, my Provider. Come what may, come what may…
“Special needs come in all sizes and packages, and yours has wrapped itself in the genius parcel. This beautiful present that God has entrusted to your care may be one of your biggest challenges in life. Your days will be intense; you will need a big support team. Folks may not be able to connect genius and special needs, be patient, teach them; it’s important for people to understand.”
Come what may… You are Jehovah Rophe, my Healer
When the doctor gives a bad report
You are Jehovah Rophe, my Healer
When they say “He’ll never be normal”
You are Still Jehovah Rophe, my Healer. Come what may, come what may…
“I have never had a friend like you. When I was little I dreamed of having a best friend, a soul mate, someone who would be there through it all; laughter, tears, weddings, babies, graduations, grandbabies. Then I met you. One day we will be able to sit in our rocking chairs, looking out at the ocean waves, reminiscing of years gone by. You are my best friend forever.
Come what may… Your are Jehovah Rohi, my Comforter
When “sticks and stones” break these “dry bones”
You are Jehovah Rohi, my Comforter
When the one who said they’d never leave, leaves
You are STILL Jehovah Rohi, my Comforter. Come what may, come what may…
Come what may… IN the midst of it all, He will work it OUT
